Walter W Neiswonger

Walter W. Neiswonger, of West. Middlesex, PA, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, at 2:33 p.m. in Sharon Regional Health System , after an extended illness. He was 84.
Walter was born in Oak Ridge, PA on October 3, 1930, the son of the late James and Elsie F. (Adams) Neiswonger.
He had worked as a craneman at the former Sharon Steel for 38 years before retiring. Walter was an avid hunter and fisherman, who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was of Protestant faith.
He was the husband of Ruth (Hollenbaugh) Neiswonger. whom he married on June 24, 1950. She survives at home. Also survivng are his three sons, Dennis Neiswonger, and his wife, Brenda, of West Middlesex, PA, Randy Neiswonger, and his wife, Terri, of Mercer, PA, and Steven Neiswonger of West Middlesex, PA.
He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren along with his brother, James Neiswonger and his wife, Chloe, of Warren, PA. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Private family viewing and funeral services were held at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA. with Rev. Burl Jernigan, Chaplain of SRHS Hospice and Palliative Care officiating.
Interment at Mt. Zion Cemetery , Oak Ridge, PA.
