Virginia E. Mosley

Virginia E. Mosley, Acworth, GA, formerly of Tamplin St., Sharon, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 9, 2018, in Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. She was 88.
Virginia was born in Sharpsville, PA on April 14, 1930, the daughter of the late Wallace and Grace (Mattocks) Horne.
She was a member of 1st United Methodist Church of Sharon, and the United Methodist Women.
Virginia enjoyed playing cards, doing crafts, and making  her beautiful greeting cards. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
On August 10, 1946, she married Robert D. Mosley. He died on August 21, 2007.  She is survived by her daughter with whom she lived, Naomi King of Acworth, GA, her two granddaughters, Jeanette Ashton, also of Acworth, and Katelyn Ashton-King, of Graham, WA, and  her great-grandson, Bryant Ashton, of Acwoth,GA. Also surviving are her sisters,  Mary Wilson of Sharon, PA., Norma Matzel & her husband William, of Hermitage, PA., and Elinore Sternthal & her husband Steve of Sharon, PA. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roland and Robert Horne.

Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16th,  with Rev. Douglas Dyson officiating.  Interment at Oakwood Cemetery Sharon, PA.
