Virgil C. Brakeman

Vigil C. Brakeman, age 61, of Farrell, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at his residence.

Born October 16, 1963, in Sharon, PA, he was the son of the late Russell P. and Margaret L. (Schell) Brakeman. He married the former Bridget E. Welchel on July 29, 1988, and she preceded him in death on July 27, 1994.

Virgil was a 1982 graduate of Sharon High School and worked most of his career as a roofer and contractor for Dave Marriotti Construction. He also worked as a laborer for Colonial Metals in Wheatland PA.

In his spare time, he enjoyed watching wrestling.

Virgil is survived by a son, Caleb C. Brakeman, of Farrell, PA, six brothers, Paul (Sheila) Brakeman, of Masury, OH, Glenn (Michelle) Brakeman, of Wheatland, PA, Frank Brakeman, of Florida, Mark (Cathy) Allshouse, Christopher Brakeman and Mike Brakeman, all of Sharon, PA.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Scott Brakeman.

Ther will be no visitation or services at this time, a celebration of Virgil's life will be held at a later date.
