Vath Khannouvong

Mr. Vath Khannouvong, age 54, of 406 Logan Ave. Sharon, PA., passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side at 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2012, after a brief illness.
Vath was born in Champassak, Laos on August 7, 1957, the son of the late Thongbay Suwannarat and Gunyah Suwannarat who survives him of Laos. He was a member of Savation Army of Sharon and had worked at at Brookfield (OH) High School in the maintenance department.Previously, he had worked at the Salvation Army in Sharon and at Walmart in Hermitage .
Vath enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, playing guitar and spending time with his family, especially his grandaughters. He is survived by his two sons, Juan Zamora and his wife, Lisa,and Mark Zamora and his companion, Jessica Schell, all of Sharon, PA. along with two grandaughters, Taylor Ryan Zamora and Kaiya Penny Lee Zamora. Several brothers and sisters survive in Laos. Besides his father, he was preceeded in death by his companion, Penny Larimer Zamora who died on March 14, 2007.

Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, May 8, 2011, from Noon until 1:00 p.m. at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State Street, Sharon, PA 16146.
Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. on Tuesday, May 8th,2012 with Major Timothy Hinzman and Capt. Christine Hinzman from the Salvation Army of Sharon officiating.. Cremation services provided by the funeral home.
