Thomas H. Marshall

Thomas H. Marshall, 63, of Sharon, PA, passed away on  Thursday, November 1st, 2018 at his residence, with his loving family at his side, after a couragous battle with cancer. Born June 14, 1955, he was the son of the late Holmes and Viola Parkinson Marshall. He married the former Cynthia Fishel on November 5, 1983 and she survives at home.
A 1973 graduate of Sharon High School, Thomas worked for 23 years for Cubbinson Company in Youngstown OH, until retiring in 2013.
He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors, he enjoyed camping, hiking and even cooking on a spit over an open fire. Tom was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan and also liked gardening and coin collecting. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Sharon.
Tom is survived by two step-daughters Paula ( Andrew ) Ross of Gaithersburg, MD, and Ruth Ruble of Sharon, PA, he is also survived by a brother Richard ( Dick ) Pearce and his wife Marlene of Brookfield, OH, and four grandchildren, Andrew Mills, Anna Ross, Alexander Ross and Zachary Mills as well as several nices and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death a brother Robert Pearce and a sister Gail Stroup.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, Pa., 16146. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm from the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
