Tammy L. (O'Rourke) Scott, age 52, of Sharon, PA, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021, at her residence.
Tammy was born on January, 30, 1968 in Sharon, PA, the daughter of James O'Rourke of Florida and Cheryl (Hale) O'Rourke of Sharon, PA.
Tammy married James Parshall in 1989, and he survives in Pittsburgh, PA, and subsequently married Robert Scott, and he survives in Hermitage, PA.
She was a 1986 graduate of Sharon High School and worked for both the Sharpsville School District as a secretary and for Judge Songer as a court clerk.
In her spare time, she enjoyed being a Cheerleading Coach for competitive cheering and spending time with her family.
Tammy is survived by a daughter, Casie Scott, of Hermitage, PA, two sons, Michael Parshall, of Clark, PA, and Tyler Parshall and his fianc'ee, Chelsey Gearhart, of Hermitage, PA, a brother Steven O'Rourke, of Sharpsville, PA, a step-brother Adam Milliren, of Sharon, PA, two sisters, Patricia (Andrew) Kocis, and Jennifer O'Rourke, both of Sharpsville, PA, two nieces, Paige and Sarah Kocis, a nephew, Sean O'Rourke and one grandchild on the way.
A gathering time will be held on Saturday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, Pa. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM from the funeral home, with Pastor Randy Emmorey of Grace Chapel Community Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family asks everyone to go and get your Colonoscopy done, as this was very important to Tammy. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123.
