Susann L. Wasko

Susann L. Wasko, age 78, of Girard, OH, formerly of Sharon, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Windsor House at Liberty in Youngstown, OH.

Born August 15, 1947, in Sharon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Joyce (Barnes) Snyder. She married Frank P. Wasko Jr. on August 1, 1970 and he preceded her in death on July 4, 1995.

Susann attended Brookfield High School and worked as the head cook for the Liberty School District until her retirement.

Among her hobbies were Bingo, playing cards and going to bible study, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She attended Liberty Baptist Church in Girard, OH.

Surviving is a daughter, Kimberlee Williams, of Hermitage, PA, three sons, Gerald (Kellie) Wasko, of South Dakota, Frank (Cary) Wasko, of Livingston, MT, and John (Yvette) Wasko of Girard, OH, two sisters, Sandy Schuster, of Brookfield, OH and Debbie Proctor, of Hermitage, PA, three brothers, Delbert, Dale (Ruthann) Snyder,  and Donald (Donna) Snyder, all of Colorado, seventeen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Mt. Washington Cemetery Chapel, Jefferson Twp. PA, with the Rev. Anthony Kladitis officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
