Susan T Kidwell

Susan T. (Laprocina) Kidwell, age 91, of Warren, OH, formerly of Sharon, PA, passed away on Monday; April 13, 2020 at the Windsor House in Champion, OH.

Susan was born October 6, 1928 in Warren, OH, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna Marie (Renaldo) Laprocina. She married Robert J. Kidwell on August 18, 1976 and he survives in Warren, Ohio.

Susan attended Warren G. Harding High School and St. Mary's High School in Warren, OH. She graduated from St. Mary's in 1948.  She worked for St. Joseph's Hospital for 4 years while she was in school, and later went on to work for Packard Electric as an Inspector for 20 years before retiring.

Susan was a member of the First Presbyterian church in Sharon, PA for 44 years.  She was a volunteer for the Sharon Regional Health System Auxiliary for over 20 years and for the Keystone Blind Association for 5 years. Susan loved sewing, gardening and entertaining her family, especially the grandchildren.

Susan is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Ann Marletto (Rainer) Schelp of Fountain Hills, AZ and Suzanne Marletto (Julius) Lloyd of Reston, VA, a son Frank (Lori) Marletto of Sharon, PA, a step-daughter Sharon (Robert) Carlson of Cortland, OH, a step-son, Brian Kidwell of Vienna, OH, a brother Peter (Barbara) Laprocina of Seabring, OH, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

A private visitation and service will be held at the convenience of the family, with Rev. Dr. Glenn Hink officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

The family is planning and will place an announcement for a Memorial Service and Celebration of Life at the First Presbyterian Church of Sharon at a later date.
