Stephen P. Jones

Stephen P. Jones, age 68, of Mercer, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Born June 21, 1957, in Brooklyn New York, he was the son of the late Philip and Patricia A.  (Baumann) Jones.

He married the former Tina L. Bliss on January 12, 1980, and she survives in Mercer.

Stephen was a 1975 graduate of Clarkstown South High School in New City, New York and attended San Diego State University. He served his country honorably in the US Army as a medic.

He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Corey (Nature) Jones, of Cincinnati, OH, a brother, Michael R. (Cheryl) Jones, of Lake Coeur D'Alene, ID, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Holly Techaira.

In keeping with Stephen's wishes there will be no visitation or services.
