Stephan F. Barth

Stephan F. Barth, of 1028 Heinz Ave., Sharon, PA passed away on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at 6:15 a.m. in Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. He was 85.
Mr. Barth was born in Sharon, PA on July 29, 1927, the son of the late Stephan and Victoria (Crisan) Barth. He was a 1945 graduate of Farrell High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He had worked as a machine tape machine operator at former Westinghouse plant Sharon,PA., for 39 years. Steve enjoyed spending time with his family and was of the Presbyterian faith.
He was the husband of Catherine (Totea) Barth, whom he married on November 22, 1954. She survives at home. He is also survived by two sons, Stephan A. Barth and his wife Lisa, of Spring Grove, IL,and Jeffrey J. Barth Sr. of Sharon, PA along with a brother, William Barth, of Hermitage,PA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceeded in death by his son, Gary Barth, his grandson, Jeffrey J. Barth Jr., and a brother, Andrew Barth.
