Sally "Marcella" Wheaton
Sally "Marcella" Wheaton, 60, of 3600 Festor Drive, Hermitage, passed away in her residence on Saturday, February 4, 2012 after an extended illness.
Sally was born on August 17, 1951 in St. Mary's, PA to the late Gilbert J. Krug and Martha (Detsch) Krug. She married Dale Wheaton on July 12, 1975. Sally worked as a physician's assistant with Sharon Regional Health Services and she attended St. John's Episcopal Church. She loved crafting, especially needlepoint and she also enjoyed golfing with her husband.
In addition to her husband, Sally is survived by four sisters and three brothers-in-law: Marlene and Gerald Trambley of Erie, PA, Joan and James Snelick of St. Mary's, PA, Catherine and Michael Gutowski and Bonnie Krug, all of Mercer, PA.
Friends may call on Tuesday, February 7th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 E. State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 8th at 11:00 AM at St. John's Episcopal Church, 226 West State St., Sharon, PA with Rev. Adam T. Trambley.
Memorial contributions can be made in Sally's name to either Sharon Regional Hospice and Palliative Care, 2320 Highland Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148 or to the American Cancer Society, at cancer.org
