Ruth E. Nasser

Ruth E. Nasser, 334 Malleable Street, Sharon, PA passed away at home on Monday morning, Jan. 6, 2014. She was 96.
Ruth was born in Derwent, Ohio on September 26, 1917, the daughter of the late Ralph and Eva Ferrell.
She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandmother. She lived a very full life surrounded by her family and friends and was always there for anyone who needed help. Ruth was very proud of being the heart of five generations. Ruth will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was of the Methodist faith.
Ruth was the widow of Frederick Nasser. who died in 1993. Her family includes her daughter, Lois Jean Smith of Elk Grove, CA. a son, Ralph Dean Nasser and his wife, Donna, of Sharon, PA. and by 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren. along with twin nieces, Jean and Jane Decker, of Cleveland, OH, and her closest friend and neighbor, Etta Ragster, of Sharon, PA . Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Timothy Nasser who died in 1987, and her sister and two brothers.

Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 10:30a.m. on Saturday, January 11th, with Rev. Richard Carlson of the Oakland Ave. Methodist Church officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
