Ruth Evelyn Mcclaren

Ruth Evelyn McLaren, age 88, formerly of Sharon, Pa., passed away on Thursday, June 7th , 2018, at John XXIII Home in Hermitage Pa.
Born February 1st, 1930 in Hickory twp., she was the daughter of the late William Mont and Nellie M. Redfoot Hassel. She married David McLaren Jr. on September, 25, 1948 and he preceded her in death on April 6, 1985.
Ruth was a graduate of Sharon High School. She was a homemaker who loved to cook and take care of her family. She was protestant.
She is survived by a son David M. McLaren and a daughter Beth A. McLaren both of Sharon, Pa. two brothers Victor (Irene) Hassel of Indiana and Richard (Mary) Hassel of Arizona, 6 grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Melissa, Marylee, Rob and Matt as well as 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Prichard and 2 brothers Harold and William Paul Hassel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 10th, 2018 from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon Pa. 16146. A funeral service will be held on Monday at the funeral at 11:00 am with Fr. Adam Trambley officiating. Burial will follow in America's Cemetery.
