Russell Dominic "Rusty" Morocco

Russell Dominic "Rusty" Morocco, of 88 Mitchell Rd., West Middlesex, PA, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013 , at 4:23 p.m. in Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA after an extended illness. He was 49.
Rusty was born in Sharon, PA on September 17, 1963, the son of Russell J. Morocco and Joanne D. (Toda) Smith. He was a 1981 graduate of Farrell High School where he had served as Class President. He had worked as a carpenter.
Rusty loved to play bocce and was an avid football fan and sports enthusiast. He was a member of the New Deal Club and the Italian Home both in Farrell. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his mother, Joanne Smith and her husband, Glenn, of West Plains, MO, and his father, Russell J. Morocco , of West Middlesex, PA along with his sister, Nina Morocco of Monroe, Michigan, his brother, Vincent Morocco of Pittsburgh, PA, his aunts, Marianne Sincek and her husband, Frank, of Mercer, PA and Faith Gianoglio, of Sharpsville, PA ,and his cousins, Shane Thomas and his wife, Kirsten & family, of Virginia, and John and Russell Davis of Ohio.

A Gathering Time will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
Memorial service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28th, with Rev. Richard Carlson. Oakland Ave. Methodist Church officiating. Cremation services provided by the funeral home.
