Rodney Patrick Moore Sr.
Mr. Rodney Patrick Moore Sr., 60, of 517 Ohio Street Sharon. died on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:49 a.m. in Sharon Regional Health System , after an extended illness. Mr. Moore was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 6, 1951, the son of the late William H. and Audrey (Funkhouser) Moore.
Rodney had attended Mercer (PA) Schools and was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his two daughters, Beverly Moore and Sandra Roberts and his son, Rodney P. Moore Jr. all of Sharon, PA. along with his sister, Sandy Younkin and her husband Roger, of Ravenna , OH. and four brothers, Terry Moore and his wife ,Sherry, of West Sunbury,PA, William R. Moore and his wife, Frances, James Moore and his wife, Vicki, both of of Mercer, PA.,and Delbert Moore and his wife, Denise, of Sharpsville,PA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Fisher Hill, Sharon, PA 16146 or to the American Red Cross, 517 West Main St., Sharpsville, PA 16150.
A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday from 5:00 till 7:00p.m. at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
Memorial Service at at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 7:00p.m. on Tuesday, September 20th, at the funeral home. Interment at Carpenter's Cemetery Mercer, PA
