Robert Paul Winner

Robert Paul Winner, of Mercer, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., at Countryside Convalescent Home in Mercer, after a brief illness. He was 78.
Robert was born in Wheatland, PA on December 26, 1937, the son of the late Harold and Sara (Butler) Winner.
He had worked as sheet metal worker at A.A. Samuels Sheet Metal Youngstown, OH, for 46 years. Robert enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
He was the husband of Bonnie L. (Robinson) Winner. whom he married on Feb. 14, 1957. She survives at home. Also surviving are his three daughters, Dawn Young and her husband, Kenneth, of Delta, CO,
Debbie Grossman and her husband, Russell, of Pardo, PA, and Rose Moury and her husband J.R., of Grove City, PA , along with his three sons, Harold Winner and his wife, Faith, of Mercer, PA., Jeffrey Winner of Youngsville, PA, and Eric Winner and his wife, Andrea, of Greenville, PA, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Sally Markle, Sarasota, FL and Mable Galicia , of New Castle, PA. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Winner.
