Pauline V. Brown

Pauline V. Brown, age 99, of Farrell, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Avalon Springs Place in Mercer, PA.

Born January 8, 1926, in Gainesboro, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Lou Mae (McIlwee) Cooper.

She married Jack V. Brown on March 20, 1942 and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2011.

Pauline was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking, she loved taking care of her flowers but mostly she loved spending time with her family. She was a former member of Calvary Baptist church in Farrell, PA.

She is survived by a daughter, Gail Van Dyke, of Farrell, PA, a son, Jerry L. Brown (Mary Kay), of Fairmont, West Virginia, two sisters, Hilda Racey and Mary Bucher, both of Winchester, VA, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were a son Roger A. Brown, two great-grandsons, Samuel Bord and Zachary Shields, five brothers and one sister.

Visitation and services are private. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
