Patricia Ann 'Pat" Gardner, age 97, formerly of Sharpsville, PA, passed away on Friday, May 3,2024, in Palm Garden of Clearwater, FL.

Born February 11, 1927, in Sharpsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Rose) Gory. She married Robert A. Gardner and he preceded her in death in 1983.

Patricia graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1945 and Mercy School of Nursing in Pittsburgh in 1948. She was an RN (Registered Nurse) with more than 50 years of service in a variety of different practice settings.

Pat loved golfing, playing cards, bingo, crossword puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy nightly and was an avid reader. She loved just spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters, Karen (Gardner) O'Loughlin, Kristine (Gardner) Troxell and Mary Louise (Gardner) Chizmar, a son, Jeff Gardner, a brother Frederick Gory, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by two brothers Elliott and James Gory and a sister Josephine Presley.

A private family service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, PA, with Fr. James Power officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Dementia Society of America or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
