Olivia K. Palumbo

Olivia K. Palumbo, age 86, of 4773 Warren- Sharon Rd., Vienna, OH, formerly of Greenwood Drive, Hermitage, PA died peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at 6:45p.m. at home after an extended illness..

Mrs. Palumbo was born in Wheeling, WV, on October 4, 1925, the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Pacifico) Mazza. She was a graduate of McKeesport(PA) High School. She had worked as a waitress at the former Villa Arena in Farrell, PA., for 29 years

Olivia loved to play bingo and go on trips to Las Vegas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Sharon. She was the widow of Anthony J. Palumbo.

Her survivors include her two sisters, Natalie Ziegler of Akron, OH., Lucille Sylvester of Hermitage,PA. along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceeded in death by her sister, Catherine Fazakas and her brothers, Peter and Francis Mazza.


Private family viewing will take place and private services will be held at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State Street, Sharon, PA, 16146. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park Hermitage, PA
