Olivia A. Griffin

Olivia A. Griffin, age 89, formerly of Sharon, PA, passed away peacefully the morning of May 16, 2026, at St. Paul's Senior Living Center, in Greenville, PA.

Born September 22, 1936, in Sharon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Erma (King) Miller.

She married Leo A. Griffin, on December 27, 1957, and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2016.

Olivia graduated from Hickory High School and worked for both Lee's plumbing as a bookkeeper and West Hill Elementary School, as a lunch lady.

She liked to travel and spend time with her family. She was a former member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon, PA, and more recently the Gentle Shepard Church of the Nazarene, in Hermitage, PA.

Surviving is a daughter, Susan Gordon, of Hermitage, PA, three sons, Dennis (Nancy) Griffin, of Natick, MA, Robert (Leslie) Griffin, and Timothy (Kathryn) Griffin, both of Hermitage, PA, a sister Roberta Watts, of Charleston SC, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Olivia was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Miller.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gentle Shepard Church of the Nazarene, 3480 Shenango Valley Freeway, Hermitage, PA, 16148. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the church with Rev. Glendon Wills officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
