Oliva "Laura" Rosati, of 563 Brookfield Ave. SE ,Masury, OH, formerly of 7th Street, Sharpsville, PA and Toledo, OH, passed away of natural causes on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 11:30 a.m., at O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center, Masury. She was 100.
Laura was born in Castro DeiVolsci, Trisone, Italy, on October 14, 1912, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Teresa (Penna) Cataldo. She was a member of St. Bartholomew's Church Sharpsville, PA., and a member of the former St. Olivia Society of the church. Laura enjoyed cooking and being a homemaker.
She was the widow of Nicholas Rosati. whom she married on Nov. 5, 1931. He died on Nov. 23, 1976. She is survived by her son, George Rosati of Masury, OH, her son-in-law, Dominick Zomparelli, of Sharpsville, PA , her 5 grandchildren, Jim Zomparelli and his wife, Rona, Laurie Burt and her husband, Steve, Dominick Zomparelli and his wife, Lori, Jeffrey Zomparelli, Vicky Davies and her husband, Tom along with her great-grandchildren, Joshua Burt and his wife Nichole, Anthony Burt and his wife, Kayla, Michael Burt, and his wife, Ashley, Dominique Davies and her fiance', Sean Haywood, Thomas Davies, Marlana Atallah and her husband, Shadi, Dominick and Nicholas Zomparelli, Jim Aulett, Joshua Aulett, and Renee Jackson and her husband, Shane, and many great great-grandchildren, her sister, Lena Michael, of Hermitage, PA and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Zomparelli, and her son, Nicholas Rosati, her sister, Ann Perfili, and her brother, Angelo Cataldo.
Private family visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home., 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146
