Neomia Myrinda Levitt

Neomia M. Levitt, of 959 East State St, formerly of Cedar Ave., Sharon, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015. at 5:15 a.m. in Sharon Regional Health System, after a brief illness. She was 86.
Neomia was born in Sharon, PA on August 27, 1928, the daughter of the late Leon and Alice (Porterfield) Schell. She attended Sharon Schools growing up.
She had worked as a candy dipper at Philadelphia Candies Hermitage, PA .,She also worked for Mike Mazurek and Son in Sharon. Neomia enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and playing bingo. She was of the Protestant faith.
She was the widow of William Levitt. He died May 24, 1984. She is survived by her three sisters, Susan Winger and her husband, Burt, of Sharon, PA., Ruth Allshouse and Priscilla Schell, both of Sharon, PA. and three brothers, Frank Schell, and his wife, Jane, Charles Schell, and his wife, Karen, all of Clark, PA., and William Schell , and his wife, Dorothy, of Sharon, PA. along with a special great-nephew, Mason Leach, of Sharpsville, PA. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, and her husband, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Jeffrey Lee, and her two sisters, Flora May Coxson and Margaret Brakeman and her brother, Leon Schell.
