Mike Ernest Elavsky, of Hermitage, formerly of Sharpsville and Greenville,PA passed away on Tuesday , Dec. 4, 2012 at 6:25 p.m. at Nugent Convalescent Home in Hermitage after a brief illness. He was 85
Mike was born in Sharon, PA on February 3, 1927, the son of the late Michael and Anna (Mihalko) Elavsky. He attended Sharon schools and was a lifetime member of Sts. Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sharon, He had worked as television repairman at the former Cooper and Reiber Store in Greenville, PA. Mike enjoyed playing the piano, especially for the residents at Mertz Towers where he had lived.
He is survived by two sisters, Anna Mae Daris and her husband, John of Hermitage,PA.and Eleanor Voytik and her husband , Joseph, of Indiana along with his brother, Daniel Elavsky of Brookfield, OH. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides his parents, he was preceeded in death by his brothers, Edward and John and infant brother Robert Elavsky and a sister, Irene Kavulla.

Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, at 11:00a.m. on Friday, December 7th, with Rev. Jeff Harter, of Sts. Peter and Paul Evagelical Lutheran Church officiating.
Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park Hermitage, PA.
