Mrs. MaryAnn Marcello, age 77, of 3999 Seneca Rd. Sharpsville, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 14, 2012 at 2:35p.m. in Sharon Regional Health System after a brief illness.
She was born in Sharon, PA on July 31, 1935, the daughter of the late Nicola and Clara (Zoccole) DeCarmen. MaryAnn was a 1953 graduate of Farrell High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima-St.Ann's Church Farrell, PA.
She had worked as co-owner & partner at various family markets throughout the Shenango and Mahoning Valleys. MaryAnn enjoyed music, singing,dancing, gardening, being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was known for her great sense of humor.
She was the wife of Anthony J. Marcello whom she married on April 16, 1955. He survives at home. She is also survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Chavara of Hermitage, PA. and Denise Rubano of Niles, OH.
and her son, Anthony V. Marcello and his wife, Cynthia R. Marcello, of Hubbard, OH. along with her grandchildren, Anthony J.Marcello and his wife,Pam, and Shawn V. Marcello and his wife,Amanda, Heather L. Marcello and her fiance', Luke Silvis, Danielle Silvis and her husband Eric, Allison Miller, and Jenna and Marissa Latcheran; along with four great-grandchildren. Also survivng are her two brothers, Pat DeCarmen and his wife, Mary,of Sharpsville,PA., Nick DeCarmen and his wife, Betty of South Boston, VA. and sisters-in-law, MaryLou Marcello of Sharon, PA, Ruth Marcello of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Marcy DeCarmen of Farrell, PA. Besides her parents, she was preceeded in death by her two brothers, Albert and Joseph DeCarmen, and her son-in-law, Daniel Miller.
Friends are invited to call Friday, Aug. 17, 2012 from 4:00-7:00p.m..with a Rosary service at 6:45p.m. at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann's Church, Farrell, PA at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 18th,2012 with Rev. Donald Berdis officiating.
Interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Hermitage, PA.
