Mary M. "Molly" Foy

Mary M. "Molly" Foy, 73, of Sharon, PA., passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at 10:00 p.m., after a brief illness. She was 73.
Mary was born in Sharon, PA on May 8, 1942, the daughter of the late Russell Porterfield Sr. and Edyth (Wansor) Porterfield.
She had worked as bartender and cook at The Marigold in Sharon., for several years. Molly enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing cards.
She was the widow of John A. Foy. whom she married on Aug. 23, 2008. He died June 2, 2011. Her surviving family includes her daughter, Faith Brest ,of Coral Springs, FL., her son, William W. Brest II of Sharon, PA, her grandson, Justin Budetich, of Sharon, PA, her granddaughter, Quinn Brest, of Brookfield, OH, her sisters, Esther Kellar , Peggy Young, and her husband, Robert, and Connie Smith, all of Sharon, PA.
her brothers, Robert Porterfield, and his wife, Roberta, of Sharon, PA, Russell Porterfield, and his wife, Angel, of Mechanicsburg, PA, and a half-brother, Samuel Reese, of Ohio. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Brest, and her sister, Eva Black, along with her brothers, William, Joseph, and Collin Porterfield, and Thomas Reese.

Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20th, with Rev. John Trojak, 1st Baptist Church of Sharon officiating.
