Mary Jayne Kweder
Mary Jayne Kweder, of Erie, PA, formerly of Heinz Ave., Sharon, passed unexpectedly away on Saturday, April 21, 2018  at St. Mary's Nursing Home in Erie. She was 99.
Mary was born in Wheatland, PA on September 16, 1918, the daughter of the late George  and Anna (Borcoman) Berkon, one of eleven children. Growing up, she attended Farrell schools.
In her younger years, she had  worked as a clerk at former Whitmer-Smith's store in Sharon, as well as being a governess for families in Sharon and Baltimore.
Mary was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Sharon. She was a member of the Shenango Valley  Women's Interfaith Group, Church Women United,  and the Sharon Senior Women's Club.
On August 20, 1960, she married  Anthony R Kweder. He died on July 30, 1983. She is survived by her son,  Daniel R. Kweder and his wife Laura L., and a grandson, Joel Kweder all of Erie, PA. Also surviving are three step-children, Barbara McCullough, David & Keith Kweder. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death  by her ten brothers and sisters.
