Mary T Jones

Mary T. Sullivan Jones, age 98, of Hermitage PA, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 in Sharon Regional Hospital. Born April 18, 1920, in Washington, PA, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Rose Sullivan. She married Albert Jones on June 14, 1939 and he preceded her in death in August of 1974.
Mary was a homemaker for most of her life but did work for different Carnivals, helping to feed the workers.
She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, gardening, playing cards, traveling, and needle work and was  excellent at sewing and made her own children's clothes.
She is survived by three daughters , Rosemary McFarland of West Middlesex, PA, Marilyn Louise Thompson of Farrell, PA, and Carolyn Bandy of Sharon, PA, also 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death a daughter Patricia Ann Jones Stone and two sisters Frances Barnes and Nell Copland.
There are no calling hours. A service of committal will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery Chapel on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's cemetery.
