Margy J. Ser, of Farrell, PA died at home on August 13, 2016, following an extended illness. She was 81.
Mrs. Ser was born in Brookfield, Ohio on July 9, 1935, the daughter of the late Grant and Elnora (Dahringer) Robinson.
Margy enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and cooking. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Sharon.
She was married to J. Joseph Ser II for 50 years. He died in 2004. She is survived by her three sons, Julius "Joe" Ser III (Billie), of Florida, John Ser (Cheryl), of Sharon, PA and Raymond Ser (Joyce) of Hermitage, PA; a daughter, Marjii Ser; five grandchildren, Raymond Ser Jr., Jason Ser, Renee L. Ser-McKnight, Melissa Ser-Wheaton, and Michelle Ser; along with seven great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and James Jacoby; a sister, Betty Bernadella; a half-sister, Dorothy Lawler, her brothers, Grant Robinson Jr., Ernest and William Robinson and two half-brothers, Thomas and Stanley Robinson.
In leu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 237 West Silver St., Sharon, PA 16146 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
