Margaret B. Loper, , of John XXII Home in Hermitage, formerly of Masury,.OH, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at 3:40 p.m., at John XXII Home in Hermitage, PA within 11 days of her 100th birthday. She was 99.
She was born in Organ Cave,, WV on August 27, 1914, the daughter of the late John and Ada (Burdette) Bean. Margaret was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church Sharon, PA., where she had been a member of the Presbyteers Sunday School Class nd th former Senior Fellowship group. She had worked as a clerk at U.S. Post Office in Masury, OH., for 1948-1977
She enjoyed attending the Salvation Army Senior Group on Fridays. Margaret was strong in her faith and loved the Lord greatly. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
She was the widow of Lynn E. Loper. whom she married on Aug. 25, 1934. He died July 9, 1946.
Margaret is survived by her son, Robert Loper, and his wife, Pamela, of Mountain Home, Idaho, .her son-in-law, Edward Dunkerley Sr., of Masury, OH, her grandchildren, Annette Hutchinson and her husband, Donald, of Masury, OH, Edward Dunkerley Jr. and his wife, Marlene, also of Masury, OH, Brian Loper and his wife, Ada , of Cour d' lane, Idaho, and Susan Loper and her husband, Jonathan Small, Richland, WA, along with her great- gandchildren, Lena Dunkerley, Karlee Williams, Kevin Williams, Ashley Hutchinson, Brianna Loper, Taran Loper, Dana Small and Reese Small, Also surviving are her brothers, William Beane of Sunnyside, WA., Jack Ashley and his wife, Vivian, of Hinton, WV., Walter"Buster" Bean, and his wife, Lois, of Roncevere, WV., and Edsel Bean of Waiteville, WV. Besides her parents, and her husband , she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann Dunkerley and five sisters and 5 brothers. Donations in her memory may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 263 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
