Lowell Thomas Hoovler Jr.
Lowell Thomas "Tom" Hoovler Jr., 70, of Biscayne Dr. Hermitage., PA, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014 , at 4:15 p.m. at Avalon Springs Nursing Home in Mercer, Pa after a brief illneess. He was 70.
Mr. Hoovler Jr. was born in Greenville, PA on November 29, 1943, the son of the late Lowell Thomas Hoovler Sr. and Betty C. (Hamilton) Hoovler. He was a 1961 graduate of Reynolds High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an A1C E-4. from 1965-1966.
Tom had worked as machinist at General Electric Grove City, Pa.,he had previously worked at the former G.A. T. X plant in Masury, OH , for 12 years.
He was the widower of Janet E. (Chapin) Hoovler. whom he married on July 31, 1961. She died on Jan. 20, 2013. his survivors include two daughters, Mary Fern McGowan of West Middlesex, PA.
Tracy Apa and her husband, John, of Hermitage, PA., his sons, Robert McGowan and his wife, Anne of Hermitage, PA., Kevin McGowan and his wife, Sharon, of Sharpsville, PA., Richard Hoovler and his wife, Emily, of Sharpsville, PA., along with his granchildren, John Thomas Apa and his fiance" Jamie Bowers, Justine Apa and her husband, Cody Smith, Robyn McGowan, Shaun McGowan, Brianna McGowan,Kaden and Cameron Hoovler, along with his sisters, Marcia Hoovler of Raleigh, NC, Barbara and Kathy Hoovler, of Fredonia, PA,brothers, Ralph Hoovlerand his wife Mary, of Hadley, PA.,and Dale Hoovler of Fredonia, PA. Beisdes his parents and his wife, he was preced in death by his two brothers, Paul and David Hoovler.

Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19th, with Rev James Chapin (deceased's,brother-in-law)Living Word Christian Center, Greenville, PA officiating.
Interment at ST. Rose Cemetery HERMITAGE, PA.
