Lois Jean Martof, of 563 Brookfield Ave. SE,Masury, OH, formerly of 55 W. Connelly Blvd. Sharon, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 1:35 a.m. at O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center, Masury, OH after an extended illness. She was 84..
Lois was born in Ralph, PA on June 20, 1928, the daughter of the late Jack and Sarah Ann (Ramage) Huntley. She had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and had been a member of the Salvation Army Womens Ministry Group. She was of the Methodist faith.
Lois was the widow of John T. Martof Sr., whom she married on Jan. 23, 1950. He died in 1990. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Rapple and her companion, Howard Nuhfer,of Hermitage, PA and Rose Luchette and her husband, Ivone, of Melbourne, FL and her son, John T. Martof Jr. of Farrell, PA along with her sister, Noreen Miller of Niles, OH. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
