Lois Lorraine "Lorri" Majetic, of Mercer, PA, passed away at her residence on Friday, July 15, 2016, after an extended illness. She was 78.
Lorri was born in Meridian, PA, on March 31, 1938, the daughter of the late Leslie Eugene and Nora Mae (Reitz) Boyd. She graduated from Butler High School and attended Butler Communty College and Edinboro State College.
She had worked as a waitress at Disneyworld in Orlando, FL, in her younger years. Lorri enjoyed gardening, doing crafts and was very artistic. She attended Lakeside E.C. Church.
She was the wife of Joseph Majetic Sr.. He survives her at home. Also surviving are her daughter, Robin Snyder and her husband Jon, of Hermitage, PA, and her son, Kim Dickey, of Clairmont, FL. and two grandsons, Jarod and Luke Snyder, and her step-children, Joseph Jr., Jeffrey, Jim, and Katherine, all from the Pittsburgh area, along with her sisters, Joan Martsolf, of Butler, PA, Delores Henrich, of Jacksonville, IL, and Deborah Simpson, of Orlando, FL. Five nephews and four nieces also survive. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Doris and Rebekah Boyd.
At her request there will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation services provided by the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St. Sharon, PA.
