Lillian J. Bayer

Lillian J. Bayer, of Hermitage, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, in UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle, PA. She was 75 years old.

The daughter of the late Harry and Evelyn (Stanley) McQuilken, Lillian was born February 22, 1951, in Sharon, PA. She married Jack Bayer on December 7, 1968, and he survives at home.

Lillian attended Sharon Schools and worked as a cafeteria server for the Sharon School District.

She loved all animals and enjoyed playing Pool and Bingo.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jack Jr. (Michelle) Bayer, of Sharon, PA, and Michael Bayer, of Niles, OH, two grandchildren, Dalaini and Brayden, two nieces, Debby (Steve) Zarecki, of Lake City, FL, and Suzanne Dillon, of Mercer, PA, and a nephew, James Dillon, of Hermitage, PA.

She was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Adams and 2 nephews, Joe and Tony Dillon.

A graveside service will be held next Wednesday, October 14,2026, at 10:00 AM at Oakwood Cemetery. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
