Julia Ann Marenchin

Julia Ann Marenchin, age 85, of Hermitage PA, passed away on Friday, September 21st, 2018 at her residence. Born December 31, 1932 in Sharon PA, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Roy and Elsie Dunbar Roberts. She married John A. Marenchin on October 20th, 1956 and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2016.
Julia was a 1951 graduate of Sharon High School and worked as an office manger for Marenchin's Transmissions, her husband's business. Prior to her marriage she also worked for G.A.T.X. as a bookkeeper.
Julia was a loyal member of Christ Lutheran Church, where she was on the church council, Superintendent of the Sunday School and Financial Secretary. She enjoyed reading, singing, traveling to England, France and Ireland and her flower garden but especially loved her dog, Buddy.
Julia is survived by two daughters, Donna S. and her husband Robert Osterried of Franklin PA, and Nancy E.Ayers of West Middlesex PA, a sister Dorothy Eversole of Colorado, four grandchildren, Peter Borowicz of Franklin PA, Diana and her husband James Boyd of Columbus Ohio, Venessa Palmer of West Middlesex and Sherry Lynn and her husband Christopher Carter of Hermitage PA, four great-grandchildren John Wesley Adams, Ryan Palmer, Cody Christopher Carter and Gabriel Wayne Palmer, also survived by a brother-in-law Jack Harkulich of Hermitage.
She was preceded in death by a son John Norman Marenchin in 1982, a son-in-law Wayne Ayers, two sisters Elsie Harkulich and Martha Snyder and a brother Carl E. Roberts.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon PA. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael Lozano officiating. Burial will follow in America's Cemetery.
