Joyce A. Soto Pacheco

Joyce A. Soto Pacheco, age 70, of Sharon, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the home of her niece in Sharon, PA.

Born June 17, 1955, in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late, Sherman Lee and Janie Marie (Hash) Whitt.

She married Juventino Soto Pacheco Sr. and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2017.

Joyce was a homemaker, who loved taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She did work for a short time for AWARE as a rape counselor and advocate for abused women. She was a member of First Baptist Church, in Sharon, PA.

Surviving are three daughters, Vivian Cabrera, Sebrina Gama, of Painesville, OH, and Nina Soto Pacheco, of Sharon, two sons, Luis Sandoval, of Painesville, OH, and Juventino Soto Pacheco Jr., of New Castle, PA, two brothers, Timothy Whitt, of Williamsfield, OH, and Daniel Whitt, of Fairport, OH, a sister, Pamela Oquendo, of Youngstown, OH, a son-in-law, Mike Czopar, of Sharon and her niece and caregiver, with whom she had a special relationship, Alicia Colon, of Sharon as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were a son, Saul J. Soto Pacheco and a brother James Whitt.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
