Josephine (Jo) Julia Totea Garner

Josephine (Jo) Julia Totea Garner, age 82, of Hermitage, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 in Nugent's Convalescent Home. Jo was born in Wheatland, PA on September 10, 1935 to Samuel and Julia Betza Totea. She retired from Packard Electric, Warren, Ohio in 1991 with 20 years service.
Jo enjoyed being with her grandchildren and camping with her husband , Artie. She had a very caring soul and always placed her family's needs above her own. She will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to her husband Curtis "Artie" whom she married on April 14, 1977, survivors include: two daughters Pamela Yuran and her companion John Outrakis of Sharon PA, Lori Hettrick and her husband Don of Hubbard, OH; a son Gerald Smith and his wife Jackie of Grove City PA, two stepsons John Garner and his wife Coletta and Joseph Garner all of New Mexico; two sisters Eleanor Stefanak of Hermitage, PA, and Catherine Barth of Sharon, PA, three grandchildren, Shaina Jones, Benjamin Smith and Christopher Garner and one great-grandchild Scarlet Garner.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John Totea and Samuel Tota; and one sister Mary Wallace.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21st, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, PA, 16146. A private funeral service for family only will be held on Friday at 11:00 am from the funeral home with the Rev. Doug Dyson officiating. Burial will follow in America's Cemetery.
