Joseph B. Foraker Jr., of Greenville, formerly of Sharon, PA passed away on Thursday, Jan. 12, at 10:50 p.m. at the Grove of Greenville, after an extended illness. He was 54.
Joe was born in Youngstown, Ohio on December 7, 1962, the son of the late Joseph B. Foraker Sr. and Sarah B. (Ware) Foraker. He graduated from Hubbard High School in 1982.
Joe was a member of First Baptist Church of Sharon, PA. He had worked as meat cutter/ manager at the Giant Eagle Liberty twp., OH, for several years. Previously, he had worked at Carano's IGA in Hubbard, OH and at the Mercer, PA Golden Dawn grocery store.
Joe was an avid Cleveland sports fan who enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach, going fishing, and playing on the computer.
He married Eunice M. (Black) Foraker on May 17, 1986. She survives hin in Sharon. He is also survived by his son, Mitchell Foraker of Greenville, PA, his sisters, Mala Smith and her husband Jerry, and Karen DuMare and a brother, Thomas Foraker and his wife Candy, all of Hubbard, OH, his mother-in-law, Shirley J. Black, of Masury, OH, his two sisters-in-law, Carol Serecchio and her husband Michael, of Austintown, OH, and Viola Mancini and her husband, Mario, of Masury, OH along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughters, Jacqueline, Samantha, Alexis, and Carla, his father-in-law, Carl M. Black Jr., and his brother-in-law, Raymond L. Foster.
