John K. Shaffer

John K. Shaffer, of 716 Theresa Ave., Hermitage, PA passed away on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at 12:41 a.m. in Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA from complications of acute leukemia . He was 28.
He was born in Greenville, PA on January 9, 1984, the son of the late Kenneth E. and Cathy A. (Hutson) Shaffer, who survives him of Hermitage, PA.. John was a graduate of the former Rhema Christian Academy in New Wilmington, PA and then went on to graduate with a degree in business management from Clarion State University. He attended Bethany Presbyterian Church Mercer, PA.
John had worked in management at Rennisance Hotel, West Chester,NY. Previously he had worked in management at the Airport Marriott Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA. John enjoyed working with computers, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his sister, Mindy Crenshaw of Sacremento, CA, along with one aunt and several cousins.
