John L Howard

John L. Howard, of 465 Grant Street, Sharon passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 2:55 a.m. in UPMC Horizon Hospital in Farrell, after an extended illness. He was 72.
John was born in Sharpsville, PA on April 26, 1942, the son of the late Thomas and Marjorie (Brant) Howard.
He was a member of 1st United Methodist Church of Sharon and had worked as as a security guard at at Penn State Shenango Campus in Sharon. Previously, he had worked at the former Howe Industries. John enjoyed spending time with his family
He was the husband of Linda (Hinds) Howard. whom he married October 19, 1974. She survives at home. Also survivng are his daughter, Betty Howard, of Sharon, PA, and a son, William Howard, of Sharon, and three sisters, Dory Neely, and Dorothy Kriston, both of Masury, OH, and Mary Howard, of Sharon, PA, along with a brother, Thomas Howard, of Masury, OH. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Howard and a brother, William Howard, and a sister, Millie Howard.
