Jean E Toten

Jean E. Toten, of Brookfield, OH, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2015, at 3:50 a.m., in UPMC Hospital in Farrell, PA, after a brief illness. She was 89.
Jean was born in Sharon, PA on September 6, 1925, the daughter of the late Thomas and Frances (Gregg) Gill. She was a graduate of Brookfield High School.
Jean was a member of First Baptist Church of Sharon . She was a very loving person who enjoyed life.
She was the widow of Frank Toten. who died on Nov. 28, 1992. Her survivors include her daughter, Connie M. Kollar of Hubbard, OH, and two sons, Thomas M. Toten, and his wife Alice, of Franklin, Wisconsin., and Donald P. Toten, and his wife, Patty, of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lila Gill and a brother, Tom Gill.
Donations in her memory may be made to the 1st Baptist Church of Sharon, 32 West State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
Friends are invited to call Wednesday, May 20, from 4-7:00 p.m., at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA., at 11:00a.m., on Thursday, May 21st, with Rev. John Trojak officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Sharon, PA.
