Jean D. Miller

Jean D. Miller, 93, of 59 Lilac Drive, West Middlesex, PA passed away on November 12, 2025. She was born September 14, 1932 in Greenville, PA to Kenneth E. & Verla Unger.  She was a 1950 graduate of Farrell High School.

She married her husband, Robert E. Miller, on August 5, 1950.  He passed away in July 1981.

Mrs. Miller was a lifelong member of Central Christian Church where she was a very active member, including teaching Sunday School, participating in the Missionary Group, & serving as a Deaconess.  She was also a past president of the Shenango Valley Junior Women's Club.

She was an excellent seamstress & co-owned "Draperies by Design" with her friend, Tina Hoover, until she retired at the age of 72.

She enjoyed playing cards with her sisters & brother-in-law & spending time with her family.

Some of her favorite things were cross stitching, jigsaw puzzles, dancing, buying shoes, seafoam candy & spearmint leaves.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy J. Miller of Shapsville, PA, three sons, Russell E. (Angie) Miller of Sharon, PA, Kenneth E. Miller (Jeanette) of Kennedy Twp, PA, & Rodney M. (Kelly) Miller with whom she made her home, nine grandchildren, R. Russell (Sarah) Miller, Bethany (Chris) Becker, Dr. Shannon (Jeff) Wilson-Cribbs, Dawn (Yaz) Perez, Amy Woodward, Ashley Miller, Erin (Eric) Kay, Ryan (Brittani) Miller, & Karli (Ed) Evanko, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandsons, her sisters, Janet Salsgiver of Sharpsville, PA & Judy (Tim) Mihalik of Rootstown, OH & several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie L. Wilson, an infant son, Robert E. Miller, Jr., a son-in-law, Paul H. Wilson & a sister, Joan Golub.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Central Christian Church, 218 Meadowbrook Rd., Hermitage, PA, 16148, A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM in the church with Rev. Lew Voisey officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Her family invites everyone to wear her favorite color, RED, to the service.
