Jaymar Jay O'Connor

Jaymar "Jay" O'Connor, age 67, of Jamestown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at UPMC Family Hospice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Born June 18, 1956 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Cornacchia and Shirley (Jacobs) Brady.

She married Chris O'Connor on October 2, 1992, and he survives in Jamestown, PA.

Jay was a graduate of Hudson High School in Hudson, NY, and went on to earn her Associate Degree from Green County Community College. She worked as a technical support specialist for both the Hartford Insurance Company and Verizon Wireless.

In her spare time, she liked to collect cow figurines and art, travel to warm destinations but most of all spend time with her family. She was a team mom and ran the concession stand for the Colchester Youth Football League for ten years.

Jay is survived by two sons, Patrick O'Connor, of Manhatten, NY, and Macklin O'Connor, of E. Hampton, CT. two brothers, Rocky (Terri) Cornacchia, of Upstate, NY, and Leonard (Darlene) Cornacchia, of Elizaville, NY, two sisters, Elaine Cornacchia of Athens, NY, and Christina "Tina" Cornacchia, of Hudson, NY, and her stepfather Mark Brady of Round Top, NY.

She was preceded in death by her sister Stella Hamm.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, PA, 16146.
