James H. Smith II, of Sharon, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at 8:20 p.m. in UPMC Horizon Hospital, in Farrell, after an extended illness. He was 54.
He was born in Farrell, PA on July 25, 1960, the son of the late James H. and Josephine A. (Doll) Smith who survives him of Hermitage, PA. He attended Sharon schools growing up.
Jim had worked at the former Target Manufacturing Andover, OH, and had also worked in his younger years at the former West Hill Drive Thru in Masury, Ohio. When he was in better health, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the Christian faith.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a son, James H. Smith III, of Florida, and two sisters, Linda Reinhart and her husband, Dave, and Cindy Davis. He is also survived by 3 nephews, Jason and Jamie Reinhart, and Rob Davis, and two nieces, Abi Reinhart, and Brandy Kobielus, along with 7 great -nieces and great- nephews and two great-great nephews.
At his request there will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at IHS Gospel Ministries, Hermitage, PA. at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20th, with Rev. Charles Eckles officiating.
