James M Larocca

Jim was born to Leonard and Lucy (Caruso) Larocca on July 21, 1944 in Sharon, PA. After graduating Sharon High School in 1962, Jim enlisted in the U.S. Army. He married the love of his life, Regina, in 1964, and the two traveled the country and abroad, being stationed at many Army bases. After his service, they settled in Mercer, and Jim earned his degree from Penn State in computer programming. His career was spent at Sharon Steel and later Siemens, both as a network engineer. Jim was a long time member of Mercer United Methodist Church where he could be found greeting the congregation, passing out bulletins, and collecting the offering. After his retirement, Jim enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and the family pets.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Regina, nephew Jimmy Stec, and brothers in law Ronald Gill, Albert Gill, and Walt Stec. He is survived by daughters Michelle (Paris) Krouse and Danielle (Anthony) Ross, grandchildren Luke and Leah Krouse, brother Bill (Nancy) Larocca, sister in law Dee Dee Stec, nephews AJ (Connie) Gill, David (Heather) Gill and Walter (Theresa) Stec, and great niece Hailey Stec.
