Jack L. Bukovinsky, of Sharpsville, PA, passed away at his home at 10:26 p.m. on Sat., Sept. 23, 2017, after an extended illness. He was 70.
Jack was born in Sharon, PA on January 2, 1947, the son of the late Michael Edward and Mary (Fencyk) Bukovinsky. He was a 1964 graduate of Hickory High School and attended Youngstown State University & NW Michigan College at Traverse City.
He had worked as a lab tech at General Electric Erie, PA, for several years. After retirement, he worked as an attendant at Kloos Service Station in Sharon. Jack enjoyed fishing, boating, and traveling. He was of the Catholic faith.
Jack was the husband of Carol Bukovinsky, whom he married on Aug. 21, 1982. She survives at home. Also surviving are his daughter, Lisa Dorriety and her husband Brandon, of Honolulu, Hawaii. his grandchildren, Sophie and Riley, his sisters, Diane Geiger and her husband Gil, of Canton, OH. and Nancy Schumacher and her husband Kay, of Naples, FL, along with his sister-in-law, Crystal Griffith, of Wilmington, NC, his brother-in-law, William Griffith, of Sharon, PA, 2 nephews, 4 nieces, 7 great-nephews, 5 great-nieces, one great-great niece and a godson, Asher Jones, of Pittsburgh, PA.
