Irene Kepko, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Hermitage, PA, passed away on Thur., Feb. 18, 2016, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, after a brief illness. She was 90.
Irene was born in Sharpsville, PA on May 14, 1925, the daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Stupak) Listiak. She was a graduate of Sharon High School.
Irene was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church Sharon, PA. She had worked as cafeteria worker at Musser Elementary School, Sharon, PA. for several years. In her younger years, she had worked at Philadelphia Candies in Hermitage.,
Irene was a very active member of her church and loved spending time with her family, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was the widow of Edward Kepko. who died in 2007. She is survived by her four sons, Gary E. Kepko and his wife, Nancy, of Olathe, KS, Michael P. Kepko of Phoenix, AZ., John Mark Kepko and his fiance', Sharon, King, of High Point, NC, and Edward Todd Kepko of New London, NC., and her 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Millie Elvasky, of Hermitage, PA. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Kepko, her sisters, Mary Anne Pagac, Anne Listiak, and Sophie Bodnovich and her two brothers, Paul and Michael Listiak.

Friends may call on Fri., Feb. 26, 2016 from 5:00 til 8:00 p.m., at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146
Funeral service will be held on Sat., Feb. 27, at 11:00 a.m., at Sts Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sharon, with Rev. Sean Walters, current Pastor, officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
