Harriet Alice Laird

Harriet Alice Laird, of 8221 Lamor Rd., Mercer, PA, formerly of 1020 South Darby Rd., Hermitage, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 6:02 p.m., in Sharon Regional Health System, after a brief illness. She was 83.
Harriet was born in West Middlesex, PA on May 12, 1930, the daughter of the late Jonathan and Grace (Fair) Hollibaugh. She was a 1948 graduate of Hickory High School.
She was a member of New Virginia United Methodist Church and was also a member of the New Virginia 70 Club. She enjoyed being a caregiver for many years.
Harriet was the wife of Raymond A. Laird. whom she married on May 21, 1949. He survives her. Other family members include her two daughters, Sharyn A. Tompkins and her husband, Arthur,
Kathryn Borsa and her husband Michael , along with her two sons, Rodger Laird and his wife, Candy, and Randolph "Randy" Laird and his wife, Brenda, all of Hermitage, PA. and her sister, Dorothy Merten of Conneautville,PA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn Erb.

Interment at Morefield Cemetery, in Hermitage.
