Harriet D. Jenkins

Harriet D. Jenkins, 77, of 563 Brookfield Ave. SE Masury, OH, formerly of Warren, OH died Saturday, March 10, 2011, at 1:55p.m., at O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center in Masury, after an extended illness.
Miss Jenkins was born in Tunkhannock, PA on August 6, 1934, the daughter of the late Duane and Viola E. (Hoskins) Jenkins. She was a 1953 graduate of Taylor (PA) High School and then went on to attend the Salvation Army College for Officers Training in New York, graduating in 1957.
She had worked as supervisor of the Medicare office at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, OH., for 30 years, retiring in 1996. She had also served as a Captain with the Salvation Army in her younger years. Harriet enjoyed reading and taking care of her dogs. She attended Cornerhouse Christian Church in Hubbard, OH.
Survivng are three sisters, Helen Dunkerley of Hubbard, OH., Clara Marshall and her companion, Rich Bates,of Warren, OH., Dolly Graham and her husband, Dewey, of Red Bank, TN. along with a step-brother, Harold S. Hoskins, of Falls, PA. Also survivng are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceeded in death by her sister, Violet McGee and two brothers, Arnold Jenkins and Clarence McGee Jr.
