Grace O'Connor

L. Grace O'Connor, of Sharpsville, PA, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at 12:11 p.m. after a brief illness. She was 97.
Grace was born in Sharon, PA on May 13, 1917, the daughter of the late William F. and Emma E. (Regley) Kretschmer.She was a graduate of Hickory High School.
She had worked as a seamstress and furrier at out of her home for 70 years, having learned the business in Sharon, PA and Cleveland, OH. Grace loved to sew and mend clothing along with knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed traveling . Grace was of the Protestant faith.
She was the widow of Clarence O'Connor. who died in 1991. Grace was the last survivor of her immediate family. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her only sister, Frances A. Kretschmer.
