Gloria June Blair Tomko

Gloria June Blair Tomko, Sharon, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 6:44 a.m., in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, after a brief illness. She was 83.
Gloria was born in Sharon, PA, on June 11, 1932, the daughter of the late Cecil G. and Eva M. (Bartholomew) Blair. She was a 1950 graduate of Sharon High School.
She was the widow of Edward "Muchie" Tomko Sr.. whom she married on May 3, 1951. He died on Sept. 7, 1993.
Gloria had worked as a cafeteria worker, serving children at many schools for the Sharon School District.
She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church Sharon, PA., where she had sung in the choir.
Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved family get togethers including "pizza at Grandma's house", a Sunday tradition. Being an animal lover, she loved her cats, Maggie Mae and Captain.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol J. Cresswell and her husband, Mark, of Mercer, PA her sons, Edward Tomko Jr., and his wife, Darlene, of Paynesville, OH., David B. Tomko, and his wife, Debbie, of Sharon, PA., Michael B. "Moose" Tomko, and his wife, Karen, of Sharon, PA, along with her 12 grandchildren, Nathaniel Tomko, Adam Tomko and his wife, Megan, David and Daniel "Dano" Tomko, Michael, Joseph, and Andrew Tomko, Sara and Aaron Tomko, Danielle Morocco and her husband, Mario, Catherine and Mark "Bud " Cresswell, and two great-grandchildren, Reese Tomko and Mason Morocco. Also surviving are her brother, James Blair, of Greenville, PA. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Wilda Bresnahan, Lois Rowe, Phylis Lynch, Barbara Douds, and June Blair, along with her brothers, John, Raymond, and Eugene Blair.

Friends are invited to call Friday, July 10, 2015, from 4:00 till 7:00 p.m., at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146
Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, July 11th, with Rev. John Bailey, of New Life Baptist Church, New Wilmington, PA officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park Hermitage, PA.
